Terms/Conditions for Quotes & Completed Work
1. Quote Validity: This quote is valid for 30 days. Prices and material availability may change after this period. If this quote is not approved within the 30-day validity period, Repair Nashville reserves the right to adjust pricing based on material costs or availability.
2. Scope of Work: Pricing reflects the described work. Changes or additional requests may result in revised pricing.
3. Payments & Deposits: No deposit is required for quotes under $2000. A 20% deposit is required for jobs over $2000 and must be paid at the time of quote approval. Quotes over $2000 also require signed approval via the client portal (accessed by clicking the link in the quote email) or an in-person electronic signature captured by a Repair Nashville salesperson or manager.
Full payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise specified. Accepted payment methods include cash, checks, Venmo, card, and ACH. Repeat customers may also pay online via card or ACH.
Balances more than 3 calendar days after the invoice date or the date the invoice email was sent (whichever is later) are considered overdue and must be paid via cash, ACH, or card. Overdue balances will accrue a $50 daily late fee, up to a maximum of 25% of the total invoice.
Any disputed or reversed payments, including chargebacks, may incur processing fees, collection costs, and legal action if not resolved within 7 days.
4. Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations must be made via email or text. Deposits are non-refundable if materials have been purchased or work has started.
Cancellations and no-shows are subject to time and materials charges at Repair Nashville’s standard hourly rate, covering any pre-purchased materials, travel or on-site time accrued, and IRS mileage-based travel fees if we have arrived onsite.
No-shows resulting in lack of site access, clear work areas, or other job-preventing conditions will be treated the same.
5. Unforeseen Conditions & Weather Delays: This quote does not cover hidden issues (e.g., structural problems, rot, code violations, soil/underground issues). Additional charges may apply if such conditions arise.
Weather-related delays are unavoidable and will not incur penalties or extra charges for either party, except for extended equipment rental costs, which will be passed through with no markup.
Repair Nashville is not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities.
6. Warranty: Workmanship is warranted for 12 months, covering labor, and excluding:
• Materials supplied by the client or third parties.
• Wear, misuse, neglect, or modifications by others.
• Work affected by other contractors, including but not limited to structural instability, improper installation, substandard prior work, or design flaws introduced by others.
• Environmental or structural shifts beyond our control.
7. Client Responsibilities: The client agrees to provide site access, a clear work area, and follow the agreed schedule, and to communicate necessary complications or desired schedule changes with reasonable notice given.
8. Disputes & Non-Payment: Repair Nashville may pursue Tennessee Small Claims Court or file a mechanic’s lien for unpaid work.
Late fees will continue to accrue, up to the maximum of 25% of the total invoice, and all collection costs, including legal fees, will be added to the balance.
